MOTIVATIONAL COURSE / FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND FAMILY EDUCATION
FOR THE PARTICIPANTS OF KADA’s AZAM TANI 2012
The AZAM Tani project is one of the initiatives under the 1AZAM Programme introduced by the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (KPWKM). KPWKM is a leader of the National Key Result Area (NKRA) which was introduced by the YAB Prime Minister in 2010 with the aim to improve the standards of living for low income citizens. The Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry (MOA) is the appointed “champion” in assisting target groups in the agriculture and agro-food sector through the Azam Tani Project.
The main Objectives of the Azam Tani project are :
i) To help increase the income of the target group by providing economic project assistance in the agricultural, fisheries, livestock, agro products processing, agro products trading and agricultural service sectors.
ii) To enhance the level of knowledge, skills and competitiveness of the target group in the field of agriculture through identity, entrepreneurship and technical trainings.
iii) To free participants from shackles of poverty.
KADA organised a Motivational/Financial Management and Family Education Course for the participants of the 2012 Kada’s Azam Tani Project at Sudara Beach Resort & Spa on 21 – 22 November 2012 and 22 – 24 December 2012. A total of 120 Azam Tani participants participated in this course.
The objectives of this course are :
i) To motivate and develop the minds of the participants.
ii) To provide knowledge and procedures in managing project and family finances.
iii) To provide exposure and understanding on of government policies and the direction of the programme.
iv) To increase awareness of the participants of self and family health.
